Where it streams officially

Riksdag election, Sunday 13 September 2026 (second Sunday of September by law). Polls close 20:00 CEST; SVT exit poll (Valu) at closing, first counts within the hour. SVT streams only on SVT Play; free YouTube coverage: TV4 Nyheterna, Expressen TV, plus DW News and Sky News for international results coverage.

Why watch election night on multiple channels

On election night every network runs its own projection desk. The first calls come at different minutes, the maps update at different speeds and the panels read the same numbers differently. One channel gives you one version of the night.

Put the public broadcaster, a rolling news channel and an international feed side by side and you see the count as it actually unfolds: who calls a result first, where they disagree, and what changes when the next batch of votes lands. Audio on the channel you trust; the rest stay in view.
