Women's Football Free on YouTube: WSL2, WSL, Liga MX Femenil

Two women's leagues stream complete matches free on their own YouTube channels with no regional block on the streams we checked: every Barclays WSL2 match goes out on @BarclaysWSL2, and Liga MX Femenil streams selected full matches each matchday on @ligabbvamxfemenil. Top-flight Barclays WSL matches are also on YouTube at @BarclaysWSL, but just in countries without a local broadcast partner; the next ready-made moment is Sunday 1 November 2026 at 14:00 UTC (09:00 ET), when three WSL matches labelled "BWSL YouTube" kick off together. The Women's Big Bash League (from 29 October) is not a free YouTube league: use the official broadcaster in your country.

Below, each league is sorted by what it publishes and by the country lists of its streams, which we checked on 3-4 October 2026.

The short version: WSL2 and Liga MX Femenil were open everywhere we checked; top-flight WSL depends on where you live; WBBL needs a broadcaster.

Is every Barclays WSL2 match free on YouTube?

Yes. The league states that "all Barclays WSL 2 fixtures across the same weekends will be available to watch on the division's own YouTube channel" (WSL broadcast picks). The 2026-27 fixtures announcement also says that WSL2 matches "will be available to watch on YouTube" (WSL fixtures release).

The UK is not excluded. On 4 October 2026 we checked all six WSL2 live streams scheduled that day. Each was available in all 249 territories YouTube lists, including the UK, the US, India, Mexico, Canada and Australia, and each allowed embedding (example stream). That is one matchday; later matches could be set up differently.

WSL2 tends to bunch its kick-offs. On Sunday 4 October 2026 the WSL2 fixtures page listed Durham v Newcastle at 11:00 UTC and then five matches at 13:00 UTC: Wolves v Watford, Sunderland v Leicester, Sheffield United v Ipswich, Nottingham Forest v Burnley and Bristol City v Southampton. Five of the round's six matches starting at once is the case multi-stream is built for.

When this was written, the fixtures page listed no WSL2 matches for the weekend of 31 October-1 November. Check it before planning that Sunday.

Can you watch top-flight WSL matches free on YouTube?

Sometimes, depending on your country. In the UK, Sky Sports shows 90% of Barclays WSL matches (163 matches plus the Play-Off) on Sky Sports and NOW, and the BBC shows selected matches on BBC One and BBC Two (WSL fixtures release).

For viewers abroad, the league's rule is that "all games not selected for broadcast alongside territories without a broadcast partner will be able to watch games live on the Barclays WSL YouTube channel" (international partners, 2025-26). Partners named for 2025-26 included Stan Sport (Australia), Rogers (Canada), Fox (Mexico and Central America), Movistar (Spain), U-Next (Japan), Ziggo (Netherlands), VG (Norway), beIN Sports (South East Asia) and Dubai TV (MENA). What we measured fits that rule. On 3-4 October 2026 the Man City v Arsenal stream on @BarclaysWSL was available in 174 territories, West Ham v Chelsea in 189 and Everton v Birmingham in 220 (example stream). All three were blocked in the UK, the US, Canada, Australia, India, Norway and Germany; Mexico could watch two of the three. The list changed from match to match, so open the league's "Where to Watch" guide for the round, which lets you pick your country to see who shows each match, with kick-off times in UK time (Matchweek 5 example).

If the stream is blocked where you are, the match belongs to a broadcaster there: Sky Sports or the BBC in the UK, or your local partner elsewhere.

The three 14:00 UTC matches (09:00 ET) are the side-by-side window. Outside partner territories they should appear on @BarclaysWSL; in the UK they are on Sky Sports.

After a match, @BarclaysWSL keeps the stream on the channel retitled as a replay, such as "FULL MATCH: Chelsea v Arsenal", and it also streams Subway Players Cup matches. Replay country lists can differ from the live stream's, so check the video itself.

Does Liga MX Femenil stream full matches free on YouTube?

Yes, for some matches. Broadcast rights are spread across several services, and the league's channel carries a selection. In Jornada 10, Pumas v Tigres (Friday 2 October, 19:00 central Mexico, 01:00 UTC Saturday, 21:00 ET Friday) and Rayadas v America (21:00 central Mexico, 03:00 UTC Saturday, 23:00 ET Friday) were listed on "ViX, Canal de Youtube de la Liga Mx Femenil, Canal Nueve"; the other matches that weekend were listed on Tubi and Fox One, one of them also on Amazon Prime Video (Infobae, Jornada 10 channels).

Those YouTube streams were complete matches. "RAYADAS vs AMÉRICA EN VIVO" ran about 2 hours 49 minutes and "PUMAS vs TIGRES EN VIVO" about 2 hours 29 minutes on the channel named "LIGA FEMENIL BBVA". On 3-4 October both were available in all 249 territories, the US, UK, India and Mexico included, with embedding allowed (example stream). Commentary is in Spanish.

The Apertura 2026 has 18 clubs in two groups of nine and 14 regular-season matches per team; quarter-finals are scheduled for 11-16 November, semi-finals for 9-13 December and the final for 16-20 December 2026 (TUDN calendar). Which matches go to YouTube changes every matchday, so check the channel list for each round. Evening kick-offs in Mexico fall late in the evening or in the early hours of the next day in UTC.

Is the Women's Big Bash League free on YouTube?

No. WBBL|12 runs from Thursday 29 October to the final on Saturday 5 December 2026, 43 matches, opening with a double-header at Junction Oval in Melbourne: Melbourne Renegades v Sydney Thunder, then Melbourne Stars v Hobart Hurricanes (cricket.com.au).

Every match is on Kayo Sports and Foxtel. In Australia, 20 regular-season matches and every final are free on Seven and 7plus (free-to-air TV and its streaming service, not YouTube). Outside Australia, Cricket Australia lists international broadcast partners such as Willow/Cricbuzz (US, Canada, MENA), Sky UK and TNT Sports (UK and Ireland), Disney | Star (South Asia), Fancode (India), Sky New Zealand, SuperSport (Africa) and SportsMax (Caribbean); that page does not say which of them carry WBBL, so check with the broadcaster in your country. We found no official source saying full WBBL matches stream free on YouTube. Match times are on the WBBL|12 fixtures page.

Why watch a whole round at once?

Because that is how people already use multi-stream. In our sample of 2,392 grids opened between 3 September and 3 October 2026, YouTube was in 65% of grids, and 36% of grids held five or more streams. Across ViewGrid, 66% of sessions run three or more streams. A Sunday with five WSL2 matches kicking off together fits that pattern.

How to watch it on ViewGrid
