PGL Masters Bucharest 2026: How to Watch Both Streams
PGL Masters Bucharest 2026 runs 24-31 October on PGL's Twitch, YouTube and Kick. Here is what is confirmed, how PGL handled parallel Swiss matches at its April and May events, and how to keep two matches on one screen if a second stream is added.
PGL Masters Bucharest 2026 is a 16-team CS2 event played on LAN at the PGL Studio in Bucharest from 24 to 31 October 2026. It is broadcast for free in English on PGL's Twitch channel, YouTube and Kick. At PGL's April and May 2026 events, most Swiss-stage days had two three-map series (Bo3) running at the same time: one on the main PGL channel and one on a second English channel, PGL_CS2. PGL has not yet confirmed a second stream for October. If it runs one, put the two official Twitch players side by side in one grid so you don't have to switch tabs. Check PGL's announcement for the second-stream channel and the daily start times in UTC.
What is PGL Masters Bucharest 2026?
It is a Counter-Strike 2 tournament run by PGL, played offline at the PGL Studio in Bucharest, Romania, from 24 to 31 October 2026, according to Liquipedia and HLTV. The prize pool is $1,250,000, as HLTV reported on 13 September 2026.
The name causes confusion in search. This October event was originally planned for Belgrade, Serbia. In December 2025 PGL moved it to Bucharest and renamed it PGL Masters Bucharest. A separate event called PGL Bucharest 2026 was held from 4 to 11 April 2026 at the same studio. Many viewer guides you will find for "pgl bucharest 2026" describe the April event. Everything in this post is about the October Masters.
Which teams are playing?
Liquipedia lists all 16 teams. Twelve were invited from the Global VRS ranking of 6 July 2026. Four came through regional qualifiers played from 9 to 13 September 2026.
| Route | Teams |
|---|---|
| Invited (12) | Team Spirit, Team Vitality, Natus Vincere, FURIA, MOUZ, Legacy, Aurora, G2 Esports, BetBoom Team, FUT Esports, 9z Team, The MongolZ |
| Qualified (4) | Nemiga (Europe), Team Liquid (North America), DENDELE (South America), TYLOO (Asia) |
Rosters have changed in the run-up, so check Liquipedia's event page for current line-ups before the matches start. HLTV also notes that the event matters for PGL Major Singapore invites, with a VRS invite cut-off on 2 November 2026.
How does the format work?
All 16 teams start in a five-round Swiss group stage, and every match there is a Bo3 (up to three maps). The top eight teams move on to a single-elimination playoff bracket. Playoff matches are also Bo3, except the grand final, which is a Bo5 (up to five maps) (HLTV).
Parallel matches, if any, will happen in the Swiss stage. At the April event, Swiss days one to four ran on two English broadcasts at once. The last Swiss day had three matches and stayed on the main channel. The playoff days used a single stream.
Where can you watch both streams?
The official English broadcast listed for this event is on PGL's channels: twitch.tv/pgl, YouTube @PGL and kick.com/pgl. A Ukrainian broadcast by Maincast is listed too, on twitch.tv/cs2_maincast and YouTube @cs2_maincast. That was the stream list on Liquipedia in early October 2026. More regional channels may be added closer to the event.
The second English stream is not confirmed yet. At PGL Bucharest in April 2026 and PGL Astana in May 2026, Liquipedia listed a secondary English stream: PGL_CS2 on Twitch, a PGLCS2 channel on Kick and a second live stream on the PGL YouTube channel (Liquipedia, April event). Some regional broadcasters ran second channels as well. No secondary stream is listed for the October Masters yet. Check PGL Esports or Liquipedia a few days before 24 October.
| Feed | Channel | Status for October |
|---|---|---|
| Main English stream | twitch.tv/pgl, YouTube @PGL, kick.com/pgl | Listed |
| Second English stream | twitch.tv/pgl_cs2 (used in April and May 2026) | Not confirmed |
| Ukrainian (Maincast) | twitch.tv/cs2_maincast, YouTube @cs2_maincast | Listed |
All of these are free official channels. We have not found a source on regional availability. If a channel does not load where you are, check PGL's own pages.
What time do matches start?
PGL has not published the daily schedule yet. In early October 2026, every match slot on Liquipedia was still blank. At the April event, on Swiss days one to four, the opening matches on both channels started at 10:00 Bucharest time (07:00 UTC). Nobody has confirmed that October will follow the same pattern.
Keep one detail in mind once times are out. Romania moves from summer time (UTC+3) to winter time (UTC+2) on 25 October 2026, the second day of the event. So 10:00 in Bucharest would be 07:00 UTC on 24 October but 08:00 UTC from 25 October on. Use PGL's official schedule and convert from there.
How to watch it on ViewGrid
ViewGrid is a free multi-stream viewer. Each stream plays inside the platform's official embedded player, so you see the same PGL broadcast as on Twitch. ViewGrid does not host or re-stream video.
- Open the event page at /events/pgl-masters-bucharest-2026. You can also open a grid and paste the links yourself: twitch.tv/pgl and, once confirmed, the second English channel.
- The two players sit side by side. You can add up to 20 streams on a desktop and up to 6 on a phone.
- Unmute the match you want to hear and mute the other. To hear the other match, swap which one is muted.
- Open the Twitch chat panel next to the grid to follow one channel's chat while both matches stay on screen.
- If you want more, add a third slot: the Ukrainian Maincast feed or another official regional stream once PGL lists it.
- Save the grid, or copy its share link (viewgrid.tv/g/...) to send to friends who follow the same teams.
If you would rather not think about it until the day, sign in and press Remind me on the event page. When the event's official streams go live, you get one email with the link to the grid. You can also follow PGL's channels from your home page. You can follow up to 50 channels across Twitch, YouTube and Kick, and the page shows which of them are live right now. If you browse Twitch in Chrome, Edge or Firefox, the ViewGrid extension adds the stream you are on to a list with one click, and "Open grid" opens the list side by side on viewgrid.tv.
Can you add a co-stream next to the official broadcast?
You can add any live channel as a separate slot, if you prefer a community caster's commentary to the official feed. PGL has not published co-streaming details for this event yet, so look for co-streams that PGL itself lists, not third-party lists. On our event grids, a co-stream channel must be live with a title that matches the event before it enters the grid. This keeps unrelated or recycled streams out.
A practical setup for a two-match day: put the two official PGL streams across the top and one co-stream underneath. Keep the co-stream muted until there is a pause in the match you are following. If you also want to follow chat, our guide to watching streams and reading chat side by side covers the layout.
What we see in our own data
We looked at a sample of 2,392 grids that sent our in-product signal between 3 September and 3 October 2026. Twitch appeared in 29% of them, and 36% of grids held five or more streams. Grids with two streams, the basic setup for a parallel Swiss day, made up 21%. This is a sample, not total usage, and it does not tell us what people watched. It does show that many viewers keep several streams open at once. We covered a similar setup for another CS2 tournament in our IEM Cologne 2026 guide.
What we know and what is still to be announced
Confirmed: dates (24 to 31 October 2026), venue (PGL Studio, Bucharest), 16 teams, $1,250,000 prize pool, Swiss stage with Bo3 matches, top eight to a single-elimination bracket with a Bo5 grand final, main English stream on PGL's Twitch, YouTube and Kick channels.
Still to be announced: daily start times (and their UTC times around the 25 October clock change), whether there is a second English stream for parallel matches, the full list of regional broadcasts, and co-streaming details for this event.
